Gold Smokey Eye

Here's another smokey look I did today from
the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Hope you enjoy.

Prime entire lid area.

The colors used are:
Dark Horse for the lid, and blended out & upwards toward the crease.
Half Baked on the center of the lid.
Virgin as a highlight on the brow bone & inner tear ducts.
Creep is used to seal in the gel liner.

Line entire upper lashline with
24 7 Liner in Whiskey.

Line lash line & wing out using
MAC Black Track Fluidline
Top liner with Creep for a long lasting look.

Here's where I go camera friendly!

I coated lashes with CG's Lash Blast.

Smokey Naked

So I FINALLY got my
Urban Decay Naked Palette,
& man was it worth the wait!
It was love at first sight! & Even better
when I got to play around with the colors.
I didn't have much time in the morning,
so I chose this simple, & easy to do
smokey eye for everyday wear.
Hope you enjoy!

Toasted all over the lid.
A blend of Darkhorse Hustle in the crease.
Creep in the outer V.

Other Products Used:
Create an exaggerated cat eye.

Always apply primer to the lids prior to applying any shadow.
Line water line & upper lash line.
Apply two coats to top lashes.

Soft Smokes

So this is one of my most go to every day kind of looks.
It's simple with a slightly soft smokiness to the eyes, and a nude lip. Enjoy

Products Used:
TFEI
NYX Eyeshadows in Taupe, Dark Brown & Black
UD 24/7 liner in Zero
CG Lash Blast
Tarte Cheek Stain in Natural Beauty
Nars blush in Exhibit A
Maybelline lipstick in Nude Blush
Nars lip gloss in Orgasm

Always prep the lids with primer before you apply shadow.
Line both lash lines with black pencil liner & smudge.
Apply two coats of your blackest, most volumizing mascara to lashes
after all shadows are in place.

Smudge black shadow on top of the liner.
Cover remaining lid in dark brown.
Use the taupe to define the crease.
(Tip: I also use the taupe color to define my
cheekbones. It looks more natural then a brown bronzer).

Before applying lipstick, always exfoliate lips.
Use a moisturizing chapstick,
then apply nude color to lips.
(Nude lips are not as forgiving as other colors,
so moisturizing prior to applying
is a MUST).

Be sure to choose a nude lip color that is
complimenting to your skin tone so it doesn't wash you out.
This color here is universally flattering.

To keep lips from looking dead,
apply a peachy gloss on top.
I used NARS lipgloss in Orgasm.

Use fingers to apply a natural looking stain to cheeks,
blending towards your temples.

Use a big fluffy brush to apply NARS Exhibit A blush
using a light hand.
Always top cheeks w/ a powder when using
cream blushes to keep the color in place
throughout the day.
